Brassy Blondes? We've Got The (Purple) Solution!

Brassy Blondes? We've Got The (Purple) Solution!

If you've got blonde hair, whether you were born with it or you bought it, you know that sometimes, those golden tresses can get a little dull and brassy, and it doesn't seem like there's much you can do to prevent it! Chemicals and toxins from the environment, our tap water, and even the products we use to style our hair can build up in our strands, leaving our hair looking less than amazing. I've got naturally blonde hair, and I'm not ashamed to say that I also pay my lovely hair stylist to lighten, brighten, and bold it right up, letting me play with those sunny tones whenever the mood strikes! While I love those light shades, I don't love how quickly they can go dull, yellow, or just straight dingy looking.

Fortunately, it's an easy fix! Elementary school art class taught us the colour wheel - and Yellow and Purple are at opposite ends of it! That means that all we need to do to balance out those brassy tones, is to add a little violet. Easy as purple pie, right?

Many purple shampoos and conditioners are coloured with synthetic dyes - often made with harsh chemicals wouldn't want anywhere near your body, let alone slathered all over your head. So, what do we do? Live looking like we've got a doorknob on top of our heads? I mean, or we could find a natural solution!

Beauty From Bees new Purple Shampoo & Conditioners are made without the harsh chemicals and synthetic dyes! It's made with only the natural ingredients you know and love in all Beauty From Bees products, so you know it's going to leave your hair soft, smooth, and healthy as can be.

So, how'd they make it purple? We know they weren't going to resort to chemical dyes, right? They just had to do a little digging to find the perfect, natural piece of the puzzle, and they found it in the form of Mica! This brightly coloured powder is a safe, natural alternative to chemical dyes, and I absolutely love the way it tones my blonde!
