Bath Time Fun!

Bath Time Fun!

Winter is coming, and that means a lot less hosing the kids off in the back yard, and more actual baths. In the tub. Inside. We all know that Beauty From Bees has the best, safest bubbles around, but did you know that you can use these products to take your bath time play to the next level?

Cool parent awards coming your way.

1. Foam Soap! We've all seen that fun, shapeable soap that you can get at the grocery store, but have you ever flipped the can and read the label? That aerosol bottle is filled with gooey, chemically, gunk. It leaves horrific bathtub rings, and often causes rashes and irritation on my kids' skin. Not to mention the waste. Two baths and the can is empty, and I'm left with a metal can that can't be refilled. No thanks. It's actually just as easy, cheaper, and a LOT healthier to make your own! Add a tbsp of your favorite Beauty From Bees Bubble Bath and about a half a cup of water into your blender. Blast it on high for a minute, and you've got perfect, shapeable bath foam that won't break the bank, skuzz up your tub, or irritate your kiddo's skin! It also makes THE BEST shampoo hairstyles you've ever seen.

2. Bathtub Paint! This is an absolute favourite around here, and it's a super sneaky way to get your kids to clean themselves AND your bathtub. Win, win, WIN. Mix 1/3c Baby Shampoo + Body Wash, 1tbsp Baby Powder, and a toothpick dip of food colouring, and you've got a fun, foamy bathtub paint that won't stain your kids or your tub. My kids love using paintbrushes to paint themselves, each other, and the walls! My rule is that they have to rinse off everything they paint, and my tub is usually cleaner when they get out than before they went in. Remember when you're choosing a baby powder to make this recipe, you want to pick one that's safe for every part of the body - Beauty From Bees powder is a simple formula that doesn't contain anything that's going to cause any harm. It's good, clean fun!

Bath time can be a lot of fun, and a peaceful second of contained play for parents everywhere. Keep that fun healthy and safe with products you know were designed to work with the natural balance of your skin! Ditch the chemicals, and know that your kids are only ever being exposed to products that you won't ever have to question the safety of!
