Staying Healthy Starts With a Clean and Germ-Free Home!

If I'm being perfectly honest here, I'm a bit of a mess as a housekeeper. I don't Marie Kondo my drawers, I rarely make my bed, and I often have to use a fork to wiggle around the flipper and get my cooking utensils drawer to open. It's not that our house is dirty so much as it's cluttery and lived in. Or at least that's how I justify it as I swipe the crumbs onto the floor and vacuum them up, because I'm also not a huge fan of the broom. As it turns out, a global pandemic was just what I needed to kick my disorganized butt into cleaning hyperdrive. I'm panic wiping doorknobs, shining my counters until I can see my unwashed face in them, and googling which are the highest-touched surfaces in a house.

We like to lean more onto the crunchy side of the cleaning spectrum. My kids are forever putting things in their mouths, eating food they've dropped on the floor, or setting their snacks down on random surfaces, promising to return to them later. As much as I love that swimming pool smell, dousing my house in bleach has never been my style. So, when Beauty From Bees announced their new Multi-Purpose Probiotic Cleaner, you know I was IN. Effectively clean surfaces without spraying poisons and toxins all over the house? Yes, please!

We're inside and outside all day long, and sometimes hand washing gets forgotten in the hustle and excitement of the day. With a husband who is still working outside of the house, we've definitely had to level up our cleaning game, to protect our family and the ones we come into contact with. Here's how we're using this new Beauty From Bees Cleaner to keep our house germ-free, and our family protected!

1 High-touch surfaces. We spray doorknobs, light switches, railings and banisters, toilet seats and flushers, and sink taps on a daily basis. These are the surfaces we touch the most, and often with unwashed hands. I spray these with the Multi-Purpose Cleaner, and wipe with a damp cloth.

Food Surfaces. The table, counters, chairs, and anywhere that we're eating gets extra loving today. After we put away the groceries that have been set on the counter, before and after we prepare food, before and after we eat. This cleaner works great as a surface spray, helping to get those counters and tables shiny and clean! This cleaner also has a fantastic, clean scent from the powerful essential oils that are in it, and I love that peppermint and eucalyptus smell that makes my house feel extra clean!

Windows and Mirrors. This isn't pandemic-related - my kids are just professional mirror and window smearers. Toothpaste, fingerprints, noses...smudges and marks I can't even name. A quick spritz of the Multi-Purpose Probiotic cleaner on my favourite window cloth, and my shiny surfaces are clean and clear, without being streaky or fogged. At least until my kids sneak back into the room.

Keeping your family healthy and protected starts at home, where we're spending more time than ever before. Keep that house looking, feeling, and smelling as clean as it can, while knowing that you're not putting them in contact with anything that's filled with ingredients that could be harmful for the people that you love most.
